This calming 24-hour nourishing cream protects and nourishes sensitive skin during the day and helps it to regenerate overnight. Its gentle formula with Skin Defense Complex+ strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier, whilst α-bisabolol and allantoin alleviate unpleasant tight-ness and itching, resulting in a noticeable improvement in skin condition. Saccharide isomerate and hyaluronic acid provide the skin with long-lasting moisture. The skin is soothed, giving it a supple feel.
How to use
Tip: Intense Calming Cream can be used around the clock as 24-hour care for sensitive skin which is rather dry.
Recommendation: Sensitive skin and sunlight do not mix. Face Guard (SPF 30) ensures optimal sun protection. This ultra-light lotion gently remains on the skin and reflects UV radiation. Simply apply Face Guard beneath Calming Sensitive Cream during the day.
Active Substances
- Skin Defense Complex+: A highly active phyto complex made from black currant seed oil (rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, reduces inflammation and repairs the skin’s barrier function), balloon plant (rich in phytosterols, considered a herbal alternative to hydrocortisone and reduces inflammation) and the unsaponifiable parts of sunflower oil (rich in essential fatty acids; protects and restores the damaged skin barrier and reduces allergic reactions)
- Long-chain and short-chain hyaluronic acid: Intensively moisturises and protects
- Shea Butter: Nourishes the skin and supports its barrier function
- Isostearyl Isostearate: An emollient derived from raw plant-based materials, clinical studies have shown that it integrates into the intercellular lipids and thus strengthens the barrier function of the skin
- Squalane: Similar to natural skin lipids; prevents dehydration (water loss), smooths the skin
- Saccharide Isomerate: A skin-identical carbohydrate complex for long-lasting hydration of the skin (72-hour long-term effect)
